Our Mission

The Amateur Radio Council of Arizona (ARCA) is a non-profit organization comprised of Amateur Radio Clubs from all parts of Arizona, working for the betterment of amateur radio statewide.

ARCA's objectives center on uniting various clubs by combining their resources, promoting amateur radio welfare, and fostering activities that advance the hobby throughout Arizona.

What We Do

Scholarships

Financial awards for licensed amateurs pursuing higher education, nominated by member clubs.

Grants

Funding for affiliated clubs for community-benefiting projects and communications infrastructure.

Frequency Coordination

A volunteer group managing repeater frequencies to minimize interference and maintaining a directory.

Hamfests

Maintaining an online master hamfest calendar and sponsoring various conventions statewide.

Arizona QSO Party

An October competition where participants work contacts across the state with award plaques.

Recognition Awards

Ham of the Year and Young Ham of the Year awards honoring outstanding community service.
